The construction of a steel structure warehouse can be divided into three main stages: foundation engineering, main structure installation, and enclosure system. Each stage must strictly adhere to technical specifications:
1. Foundation Engineering: The Cornerstone of Stability
Foundation construction requires the selection of pile foundations or independent foundations based on geological conditions. In soft soil areas of Dongguan, PHC pipe piles (400-600mm in diameter) are commonly used for foundation treatment. The depth of the pile tip into the bearing layer must be verified through static load testing to ensure a bearing capacity characteristic value ≥250kPa.
2. Main Structure Installation: Millimeter-Level Precision Requirements
The installation of steel components must follow the principle of "columns first, beams second; main components first, secondary components third." Column base installation requires verticality calibration using a laser level, with deviation controlled within H/1000 (H being the column height). Steel beam connections utilize high-strength bolt friction-type connections, and the torque coefficient must be tested in a laboratory to ensure the connection node bearing capacity reaches 1.1 times the design value.
3. Enclosure System: Balancing Functionality and Aesthetics
The roof and wall cladding shall use color steel plates or aluminum-magnesium-manganese panels, meeting the following standards:
- Waterproofing: Roof slope ≥ 5%, double-layer sealing strips at overlaps;
- Thermal Insulation: Rock wool sandwich panel thickness ≥ 50mm, thermal conductivity ≤ 0.044W/(m·K);
- Lighting Design: FRP skylights shall be installed on the warehouse roof, with a light transmittance of 3%-5% to reduce energy consumption for artificial lighting.
