Materials such as I-beams, H-beams, C-beams, color-coated steel sheets, sandwich panels, roof beams, color-coated steel plates, Q345 profiles, and embedded parts are used in steel structure factory buildings.
Steel structure factory buildings mainly consist of the following five parts:
1. Embedded parts (to stabilize the factory structure)
2. Columns, generally made of H-beams or C-beams (usually two C-beams are connected by angle steel)
3. Beams, generally made of C-beams and H-beams (the height of the beam is determined by the span)
4. Purlins, usually made of C-beams, but channel steel is also used.
5. Sheets, of two types: single-layer sheets (color-coated steel sheets) and composite sheets (two layers of sheets with foam in between, providing warmth in winter and coolness in summer, and also sound insulation).
Commonly used steel materials include high-quality carbon structural steel such as Q235, which has strong compressive strength and is usually readily available in the market. Steel plates come in a wide range of thicknesses, from 0 to 30 mm, with common specifications such as 200/500 mm.
